25 YEARS OF TRIAL EXPERIENCE!

The State's Attorney's Office safeguards and protects the safety and rights of the citizens as well as the businessmen and women traveling through and/or visiting Prince George's County, Maryland. The Office is comprised of over 200 attorneys, investigators, administrative and legal support staff and generally reviews and assesses and eventually charges approximately 4,000 crimes annually. The Office needs and deserves an experienced attorney who has the ability and experience to hire and train new attorneys, interface with police officers of all levels and provide leadership and guidance to the trial attorneys in the office. I am the only candidate in the race who has worked in the State's Attorney Office and the only candidate with trial experience as a prosecutor, military officer and defense attorney. I ask for your vote.

Early voting is October 25 through November 1st and the regular voting date is November 6th.

    Running as Independent

I chose to run as Independent to send the message that decisions to charge and/or prosecute will be based solely on an Independent analysis of the facts of each case and not a hidden political agenda.  As a defense attorney, I encounter questionable charging decisions everyday.  As State’s Attorney, I will bring transparency to the charging process.

Because I am running as an Independent and not affiliated with any party, there are only 2 ways I can be elected:

    1. Petition
    2. Write In

As a petition candidate, I was required to obtain 6150 signatures of registered voters who live in the County.  I submitted over 7200 to the Board of Elections. The BOE rejected over 500 of those signatures not because to people who signed were not registered voters but because of, among other things, missing middle initials.  Accordingly, the BOE Determined that I was 450 signatures short of the required 6150.

I am determined to see the race to the finish line to honor the 7200 people who signed my petition and continue to educate the citizens of Prince George’s County on this very important race.  A trial attorney should run the State’s Attorney Office, not a politician.

“Not only will I pursue justice, I will defend it.”
